Description
This class is designed as the 2nd part of the documentary program. The pre-requisite for the class is the Introduction to Video Documentary, which was offered in the Spring. We will continue to analyze different approaches and styles of documentary filmmaking but the emphasis this semester will be onmaking and completing your short films. Students will engage in critical readings, write about assigned films in their film journal while producing their short documentary (15-20 mins). Students will continue to learn the practical steps of documentary filmmaking focusing on post- production and editing.
